The Bounty Snatcher - Friday the 13th Style Results
The secret Friday the 13th Bounty was drawn and as it turned out it was the 13th person that signed up for the tournament (very freaky since the draw was 100% random by table-seat then we looked up to see who was in that table-seat).
The players continued to dwindle as the special bounty still lived on until there were 13 players remaining and then the special bounty was slain and one lucky player received the $160 special bounty.
The Sanctum of the Sixth was equal to five players (32/6 rounded down) and when we hit that point in the tournament the bounties paid were in the quantities of 10, 10, 7, 3, and 2.
There were four spots in the money, the player with 3 bounties went out 5th, followed by the two players that held 10 bounties each, with the 2 bounty holder finsishing second and first went to the Troy H with his 7 bounties.
Congratulations to all the Bounty Snatchers and especially to Troy H for his win!
side note:
We are currently looking at possibly doing another Bounty Snatcher on June 12th which is in conjunction with the AVP Meet happening on June 13th (AVP is AllVegasPoker.com)

The Bounty Snatcher returns in Friday the 13th Style!
Not only is your head on the line,
but so are all those you’ve collected!
Friday the 13th at 7pm!
Every player will be given a Bounty Card at the start of the tournament. When a player goes all-in so does their bounty card and all the bounty cards they have collected. If the player loses they lose all the bounty cards too!
The Bounty Snatching continues until you reach The Sanctum of the Sixth then those remaining players get to cash in their bounties and the tournament continues as a normal tournament.
The Sanctum of the Sixth is equal to one-sixth the total number of entries for the tournament.
$130 Entry Fee
$50 Bounty on Every Player and a special $5 “Friday the 13th” Bounty
One player, drawn at random, will have the “Friday the 13th” Bounty on their head.
If you knock the specified player out of the tournament you collect the “Friday the 13th Bounty” Prize Pool. The “Friday the 13th” Bounty cannot be snatched.
The person with the “Friday the 13th” Bounty on their head will not be revealed until they are knocked out.
This person has the ability to collect the bounty by winning the tournament.
If the special bounty is awarded before the end of the first hour of play, all subsequent entries will only pay $125.
Every player that makes it to The Sanctum of the Sixth will have at least one bounty to cash in!

Club Royal Flush hit for $4,958!
Congratulations to Dave S. aka The OD aka Scrappy Dave from North Las Vegas, NV for hitting the Club Royal Flush.
It was one of those days, those days where I knew something was going to hit....
When I arrived for work this morning I see Dave sitting in the nine-seat of the $1/$3 No-Limit game that went all night and as I walk by him I say something like, "Now that you've stayed all night why don't you take down one of those Royals!"
Then about 30 minutes later when more daytime staff showed up I made the comment that "a Royal is getting hit today" - I could feel it coming (of course I also track everything there is to track so I knew statistically that we were way behind on Royal Flush hits which showed in that we have one at $5,000 and another ready to cap out at $5,000 so it was more than just a feeling).
We had just started doing the green color up for the 2pm tournament when I hear Dave yelling, "CHRIS! COME HERE!" so as I walk over to the table I can see two of the three Club Royal cards on the flop and the third one on the river and he is standing up all excited. He had moved all in on the river and was telling the guy who was contemplating a call that he had it, there was no poker face at all.
The other player involved in the hand could not tell if it was just theatrics or for real so he called and was then shown the two remaining cards for the Royal Flush!
Again congratulations Dave, you've certainly started this new year out with alot of gusto!
So who will take down the $5,000 Diamond Royal Flush?
It could be YOU!

Hot Summer Cash - Weekly Winner # 6
Lightning does strike twice!!!
David Lundy, our first $5,000 winner from Week # 3, came back to Vegas to collect his $5,000, hung around and played some more poker. Had more than 15 hours last week and was here for the drawing last Friday but did not win.
He kept on playing, hit two Quads, collecting 20 tickets before he had to leave early Saturday morning. Before he left he made the comment that he figured out how to win... he just had to leave.
Well it worked because to the dismay of all the players present David Lundy wins again!
Because he could not get 15 hours of play in before he had to leave he will only win $2,500 this time, but I am sure he'll be back soon to collect it.
Congratulations again David Lunday from Dallas Texas!
